One of the first miracles Elisha performed was to purify a town’s water supply. According to the townspeople the water was bad causing women to miscarry and the land to be unproductive. That is a metaphorical picture of society. Hatred and racism have polluted our culture. Bitterness has ruined our relationships. Civilization is threatened. If you have allowed bitterness, or anger, or racism, to poison your spirit call on the Lord. Ask Him to heal your wounded soul and purify your spirit. Ask Him to heal our culture.

Lord Jesus, heal our culture by healing us. Remove all hatred, racism and anger from our lives. In Your holy name I pray. Amen.
