Someone said, “You can count the seeds in an apple, but you can’t count the apples in a seed.” So it is with sowing and reaping. Let me illustrate. Following the morning service, a young couple attending Bible College gave me all the money they had—a handful of coins totaling just over $3.00. They wanted to sow into the ministry believing for a harvest. Two days later a parishioner asked me if I knew of anyone in dire financial need. I immediately thought of them. In response he handed me a $700 check to give to them. Think about it. In faith they sowed a $3 seed and reaped a $700 harvest.

Lord Jesus, give us the faith to give as You direct us. In Your holy name we pray. Amen.
