As a rule, farmers plant in the spring and harvest in the fall. In between is the growing season. So, it is in the Kingdom. There is often a waiting period following the sowing of your seed, not always but often. During the growing season you may wonder if the seed is germinating, if it is going to sprout. You may even be tempted to dig it up to see what is going on. Don’t do that or you will destroy the seed. Trust the Lord and trust the process. In due season you will reap a harvest.
“And let us not be weary in well doing: for in due season we shall reap, if we faint not.”

Lord Jesus, give us patience to keep on believing when the harvest is delayed. In Your holy name we pray. Amen.
