Another key to victory is to “find your strength in God.”5 Let me suggest two ways we can do that.
1) Meditate on the scriptures especially those that affirm God’s faithfulness and sufficiency.
2) Remember the times the Lord has delivered you in the past. Some years ago, our ministry was facing a financial crisis. No matter how much I prayed I couldn’t get any peace. Finally, I opened my journal, and beginning with our first year in ministry, I listed all the times the Lord had supplied our financial needs. By the time I finished faith had replaced fear. God’s past faithfulness gave me confidence to face the future unafraid.

Lord Jesus, I am praying for those who are facing impossibly situations. Strengthen their faith and intervene on their behalf. Amen.
