The gospel is a great big “yes.” “Yes” to God and goodness. “Yes” to love and forgiveness. “Yes” to selflessness and service. “Yes” to intimacy. “Yes” to the kind of relationships that nourish the soul. “Yes” to excitement and joy. “Yes” to the abundant life. “Yes” to being more alive than we’ve ever been. “Yes” to all the potential God placed inside each of us!

Lord Jesus, when many think of Christianity, all they can think of is an overwhelming “NO!” Deliver them, I pray. Help them to embrace Your eternal “yes.” In Your holy name I pray, amen.
