Salvation is composed of three primary aspects: The first aspect of salvation is justification—our right standing before God. In that regard Hebrews 10:14 says we have been “perfect forever.”. The second aspect of salvation is sanctification—that is the continuing work Christ is doing in us. Hebrews 10:14 describes it as “being made holy.” The third aspect of our salvation is glorification. Romans 8:30 puts it this way “…those he justified, he also glorified.”
“…just as one trespass resulted in condemnation for all people, so also one righteous act resulted in justification and life for all people.”
— Romans 5:18 (NIV)
Lord Jesus, I cannot justify myself. You are my only hope. Impute Your righteousness to me that I might be justified before God. In Your holy name I pray. Amen.
