False guilt is rooted in subjective feeling rather than objective fact. That is false guilt feels like the real thing but it’s not. The feelings of guilt are real, but they are not accurate. Our sins, as evil as they were have been forgiven and there “…is now no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus” (Romans 8:1). 1 John 1:8-9 says, “If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just and will forgive us our sins and purify us from all unrighteousness.”
“He does not treat us as our sins deserve

or repay us according to our iniquities.
As far as the east is from the west,
so far has he removed our transgressions from us.”
Lord Jesus, deliver us from false guilt and condemnation so we can take joy in our salvation. In Your holy name I pray. Amen.
