As you wait in the presence of the Lord, pay attention to the thoughts and impressions that come to you for that is often how the Lord speaks. If what you are sensing lines up with Scripture, act on it, even if you are not sure whether it is God’s voice or just your imagination. That’s what Abraham did, “By faith Abraham, when called to go to a place he would later receive as his inheritance, obeyed and went, even though he did not know where he was going” (Hebrew 11:8).

Lord Jesus, give us the courage to obey even if we are not sure if what we are sensing is Your prompting or just our imagination. In Your holy name we pray. Amen.
