There is something about the Holy Scriptures that secular humanists and dictators fear. When the communists came to power in Eastern Europe and China they confiscated all the Bibles and burned them. Having a Bible was a crime punishable by imprisonment and even death. Yet people risked their lives for even a scrap of scripture—to them it was more precious than life! What about you? Are you treasuring the scriptures or ignoring them?
