The Bible is unlike any other book known to man. It reveals who God is and who He has created you to be. He is the creator and you were created in His image – “So God created man in his own image, in the image of God he created him; male and female he created them” (Genesis 1:27).
It reveals God’s plan for your life. “All the days ordained for me were written in your book before one of them came to be” (Ps. 139:10).
It will purify your mind. “Your statutes are wonderful; therefore I obey them. The unfolding of your words gives light; it gives understanding to the simple” (Ps. 119:130).
Lord Jesus, we thank you for Your Word. Let it do its holy work in our lives. In Your holy name we pray. Amen.
