Spiritual perception will put physical reality into perspective, replacing fear with faith. Let me illustrate. In 2 Kings 6 we see the prophet Elisha and his servant surrounded by a strong military force sent by the King of Aram to capture or kill the prophet. Of course, Elisha’s servant was terrified, and he said, “Oh, my lord, what shall we do?”
“‘Don’t be afraid,’ the prophet answered. ‘Those who are with us are more than those who are with them’ (2 Kings 6:16). The things you are facing may appear overwhelming, but God is greater than any challenge you will ever face!
“If God is for us, who can be against us?”

Lord, open our eyes so we can see that Your resources are greater than our need. Amen.
