Christianity is both exclusive and inclusive. You may be thinking how can that be? Aren’t those contradictory terms. Let me explain. Christianity is exclusive in that there is only one way to become a Christian. There is only one way to salvation, only one way to heaven, only one way to God. Jesus He declared, “No one comes to the Father except through me” (John 14:6). Christianity is inclusive in that salvation is available to anyone who believes. Your nationality doesn’t matter, nor does your social status, your ethnic background or whether you are rich or poor. John 3:16 declares, “…anyone who believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life.”
