Sin—our sins—separated us from God; built an impregnable wall cutting us off from Him. There was nothing we could do. We could not climb over that wall for it was too tall. Neither could we tunnel through it for it was impenetrable. We were truly cut off from God! But because we could not go to God, He came to us in the person of Jesus Christ. He became one of us! He is our only hope! Believe in Him and you will be saved (Romans 10:9-13).
