How was Jesus made to be sin for us? (See 2 Cor. 5:21) By sinning? Absolutely not! “[He] has been tempted in every way, just as we are—yet he did not sin” (Hebrews 4:15, emphasis mine).
Hear me. Jesus was not made to be sin by sinning and we will not be made righteous by our righteous acts nor by living a sinless life, for that is impossible (1 John 1:8,10). Jesus was made to be sin by an act of God, and we are made righteous by an act of God.
“For God took the sinless Christ and poured into him our sins. Then, in exchange, he poured God’s goodness into us.”
— 2 Corinthians 5:21 (TLB)
Thank You, Father God for doing for us what we could never do for ourselves. In Jesus’ name we pray. Amen.
