When I think of the great lengths to which God has gone to make provision for my salvation, when I think of what it cost Him, I am nearly speechless. From the deepest part of my being I praise Him. I thank God that He did not deal with me as my sins deserve (Psalms 103:10). I thank God that His love is everlasting and His mercies never fail (Lamentations 3:22, 23). I thank God that Jesus did not come into the world to condemn the world but that through Him the world might be saved (John 3:17). I thank God that whoever believes in Him shall not perish but have eternal life (John 3:16). I thank God that when we confess our sins He is faithful and just to forgive us and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness (1 John 1:9).
