Lust had a stronghold in my friend’s life. Since he traveled a lot for his business, he had numerous opportunities to see attractive ladies and he was constantly tempted. He confided in his pastor who counseled him to be proactive in his battle with temptation. Now any time he is tempted with lust he immediately prays for his wife and for his daughters. Every temptation has become a call to prayer. Whatever temptations you are battling do what he did. Adopt a proactive strategy rather than becoming defensive.
