To make wise decisions we must know our core values – the values that shape our lives. For instance, my core values are: 1) Absolute obedience to Jesus Christ; 2) A commitment to empowering others to be all God has called them to be; and 3) A commitment to excellence in everything I do. Every decision you make should honor your core values. Any decision that compromises them creates internal conflict and undermines your effectiveness.

Lord Jesus, help us to be true to the eternal values You have given us. May we always make wise decisions that fulfill Your purposes. In Your holy name we pray. Amen.
