It’s easy to become disoriented when we find ourselves in the middle of a severe storm. That’s why it is important to have a scripturally based action plan before the storm strikes. When developing a plan of action, do not rely upon human wisdom alone; instead, go to the Scriptures. Based on the Word, I would like to suggest four steps. Step one: Stay with the ship. Step two: Get rid of all excess baggage. Step three: Anchor your soul in Jesus! Step four: Keep up your courage.

Lord Jesus, help us not only prepare an action plan but also to implement it when the storm strikes. In Your holy name we pray. Amen.
