In Exodus 33 and 34 Moses asks three things of the Lord. 1) He asked the Lord to teach him His ways so he could continue to find favor. 2) He asked the Lord not to send them up from there unless His presence went with them. 3) He asked the Lord to show him His glory. Notice his first desire was for the Lord to teach him His ways. More than anything he wanted to understand the Lord’s ways. He wanted to please Him.
If you could ask three things of the Lord, what would you ask Him?
“If you are pleased with me, teach me your ways so I may know you and continue to find favor with you.”
— Exodus 33:13 (NIV)
Lord, teach us Your ways so we can live lives pleasing to You. Amen.
