Has life been unkind to you? Have you been disappointed, even betrayed, by a trusted friend or a family member? Don’t despair! God can take the very worst the enemy brings against us and use it for our eternal good if we will give it to Him. Name your disappointment, identify your hurt; now surrender it to the Father and ask Him to redeem it.

Lord Jesus, I choose to trust You with the wounds my soul has suffered. Instead of becoming bitter I make peace with my pain. Redeem it; turn it into material for ministry. In Your holy name I pray. Amen.
