Not only was Paul a man of passion and zeal, but he was also fearlessly obedient. In every city the Holy Spirit warned him that prison and hardships awaited him in Jerusalem. His response, “I consider my life worth nothing to me; my only aim is to finish the race and complete the task the Lord Jesus has given me—the task of testifying to the good news of God’s grace” (Acts 20:24).
What about you? Are you willing to suffer any hardship and take any risk to be obedient to Christ?

“If you remain silent at this time…deliverance will arise from another place, but you will perish. And who knows but that you have come to your position for such a time as this?”

— Esther 4:14 (NIV)

Lord, give us the courage to do the right thing no matter how much we fear the consequences. In the name of Jesus we pray. Amen.
