If you’re not content, not fulfilled, let me urge you to examine your commitments. Are you living only for yourself? Is there anything that you would willingly die for? That’s the secret, isn’t it? Finding something (or someone) for which you would gladly give your life. For the apostle Paul that “something” was Christ. His sole purpose in life was to finish the race and complete the task the Lord Jesus had given him (Act 20:24).

Lord Jesus, help us to give up our rights, our selfish dreams and ambitions, and lose our life for Your sake. In Your holy name we pray. Amen.
