Have you ever noticed that when you spend time with someone you admire that you begin to adopt their mannerisms? Without consciously intending to you begin to look and sound like them. The same thing happens when you spend time with the Lord. Almost without realizing it you take on something of His nature and personality. Over time this becomes more and more apparent. We call this growing in grace or maturing in Christ.

Lord make our nature and personality unmistakably like yours. Leave us forever marked with this meeting, stamped indelibly with the evidence of Your presence. Amen.
