Every Bible character has a life lesson to teach us. For instance Abraham teaches us to persevere through the long years between the time when we receive God’s promise and when it finally comes to pass. Moses teaches us that our mistakes need not be fatal. Even though he made an absolute mess of his life when he was forty years old, God did not cast him aside. In the end, Moses became the emancipator of Israel, delivering God’s people from Egyptian bondage.
What can we learn from these two men? From Abraham we learn to hang tough, and never give up! From Moses we learn, that with God’s help there is no mistake we can’t overcome.

Lord Jesus, help us to never give up not matter how hopeless the situation may seem. In Your holy name we pray. Amen.
