When putting your team together you should focus on three areas, what I call the “Three C’s”—chemistry, character and competence. While competence is important it is the least important of the three. Competence can be enhanced through training and equipping but neither chemistry nor character can. A person either has character or they don’t. What you hire is what you get! When choosing team members match their skill set to their job description. Make sure they are a good fit but only hire them if they have chemistry, character and competence.

“Brothers, choose seven men from among you who are known to be full of the Spirit and wisdom.”

— Acts 6:3 (NIV 1984)

Lord Jesus, thank you for the gifted and anointed men and women you have allowed me to serve with. Bless them I pray. Amen.
