The truest picture of God’s love is Jesus on the cross. But who can dare to look on love like that, so pure and so holy? We are tempted to cover our eyes, to look the other way, to pretend that we haven’t seen His love bleeding and dying for us. But it’s too late. We have looked, and we have seen, and now we can never be the same. Love so terrible and so grand draws us like iron filings to a magnet. We are caught up into the very bosom of God, taken into His great heart.
