Disinformation is a major tactic in war and the enemy of our souls uses it with consummate skill. He tries to fill our minds with all kinds of lies. He tells us God is to blame for our misfortune, that He does not love us. He lies about our friends, telling us they can’t be trusted. Of course, he tells us lies about ourselves. He tells us we are no good, that we will never be any different, that we are losers. Once we buy into his lies, we are in grave danger of losing our faith. Therefore, no piece of armor is more critical than the “helmet of salvation.” It protects our minds from the disinformation of the enemy.
