Sooner or later, we will find ourselves facing conditions that are simply beyond us, problems that we cannot solve regardless of our most determined efforts. Maybe you’re facing a terminal illness, or a financial crisis, or a broken relationship, or a worldwide pandemic. In times like that we need supernatural intervention. That brings us to the third principal we can glean from this bit of Biblical history tucked away in the second book of the Kings. This principal teaches us that God will intervene on our behalf.

God almighty, intervene on our behalf. Do what we cannot do. In Your holy name we pray. Amen.
