I’ve heard all the explanations of why God doesn’t intervene on our behalf: God makes decisions based on the big picture, the eternal perspective, and not on our limited understanding. God is more concerned about our character and eternal well-being than our physical comfort. God loves us enough to let us struggle for a season, if need be, to fulfill His purposes in our lives. God allows some things to happen to us, to do something in us, so He can do something through us. That’s all well and good but I want God to intervene, and I want Him to do it now!

Give ear to my prayer.”
Lord, we choose to trust You even if we don’t understand Your ways. Amen.
