A friend was having difficulty with her leg, so her doctor scheduled an ultrasound to make sure there was no blood clot. The technician doing the ultrasound was suffering from severe laryngitis and could hardly speak. My friend offered to pray for her, and the technician gladly accepted, sobbing as my friend prayed. When she had composed herself, she said, “Thank you. My mother used to pray for me like.”
There was no blood clot and my friend concluded that her real purpose in being at the hospital was to pray for that young lady. Amazing isn’t it what lengths the Lord will go to in order to minister to someone who is hurting.
“Pray for each other so that you may be healed. The earnest prayer of a righteous person has great power and produces wonderful results.”
— James 5:16 (NLT)
Lord Jesus help us be obedient to the prompting of the Holy Spirit. Amen.
