Only in Christianity does God become one of us (the Incarnation). Only in Christianity does God, in the person of Jesus, pay the penalty for our sins (the Crucifixion). And the big one—only Jesus was resurrected! The entirety of Christianity hinges on the Resurrection; it rises or falls depending on whether Jesus was literally resurrected. If He was physically, bodily resurrected, then Christianity is valid, as is your faith. If He was not resurrected, then Christianity is a hoax.
“If Christ has not been raised, your faith is futile; you are still in your sins… But Christ has indeed been raised from the dead.”
— 1 Corinthians 15:17, 20 (NLT)
Lord Jesus, I thank You for transforming us and empowering us to live victoriously and to face death without fear. Amen.
