In the economy of the Kingdom the size of a person’s donation is not determined by how much he gives, but by how much he keeps. In the economy of the Kingdom the power of a person’s donation to accomplish eternal good is not determined by its monetary value, but by the amount of faith required to give it. That’s why Jesus could say the poor widow’s two copper coins were more than all the gifts the wealthy had donated.

“All these people gave their gifts out of their wealth; but she out of her poverty put in all she had to live on”

— Luke 21:4

Lord Jesus, increase our faith that we might give more and keep less. In Your holy name I pray. Amen.
