Tough times are here, make no mistake about it. Millions are unemployed, businesses are failing, marriages are in trouble, and terminal illness stalks us all. I’m not being negative. I’m a realist and I’ve lived long enough to know that sooner or later tough times come to everyone. But that is not the end of the story. God is greater than any storm we will ever face and His grace is sufficient. We can live with meaning and purpose no matter our lot in life.

Lord Jesus, help me to trust You even if I cannot understand Your ways, for You are my only hope, my only help. In Your holy name I pray. Amen.
