When we succumb to temptation we have a choice. We can deny our sin and pretend that we have not transgressed or we can confess our sins and trust God’s unconditional love. Unfortunately, many of us know little or nothing of God’s unconditional love and as a result we are trapped in our sin. Fear of rejection imprisons us and we distance ourselves from the very One who longs to forgive and restore us.
“I have loved you with an everlasting love;
I have drawn you with loving-kindness.”— Jeremiah 31:3
Lord Jesus, let us experience Your unconditional love, not as a dusty doctrine, but as a life changing reality. In Your holy name we pray. Amen.
