Jesus was teaching in Capernaum when four men showed up carrying their paralyzed friend on a stretcher. There was no way they could get close to Jesus so they climbed to the roof of the house and tore a large hole in the roof and lowered the paralyzed man. When Jesus saw their faith he forgave the man’s sins and healed him (see Mark 2:1-12).
So what did Jesus see? He saw four men tearing a hole in the roof. Faith is not what you think or what you feel, it is what you do!

Lord Jesus, if possible use my faith to heal those who are struggling to believe for themselves. In Your holy name I pray. Amen.
