As unlikely as it may seem the Lord chooses to love us, to see our possibilities, to believe in us, even when we can’t believe in ourselves. I want to love like that, but I can’t, at least not without God’s help. I’m only good at love when it makes me feel good and that’s not really love at all. Real love, God’s unconditional love, is beyond me. Still, as the Lord continues to love me, maybe I can learn to be a holy lover too. Maybe you can too!
