So what will I do if I am suddenly stricken with a serious or even life-threatening illness?
That’s a good question and one I will try to answer as truthfully as I can. Of course, no one knows how they will respond until the imagined scenario actually happens but here’s what I have purposed in my heart to do. I will praise the Lord for the promise of healing (see James 5:14-15). As I have praised Him during the seasons of good health, so I am determined to praise Him should sickness strike.

Lord Jesus, we praise You for the promise of healing. In Your holy name we pray. Amen.
