Take a moment and focus on God’s unconditional love. We don’t have to earn it and we couldn’t earn it even if we tried. He doesn’t love us because we are loveable, for we are not all that loveable. Nor does He love us because we so desperately need His love, although we do. There is nothing we can do to make God love us more and there is nothing we can do to make Him love us less. His love is not based on who we are but on who He is. God loves us unconditionally because that is the kind of God He is!
