In his book, “Courageous Faith,” Charles Stanley says the key to victory in every spiritual battle you face is to “always fight your battles on your knees.”2 Well do I remember one of my early spiritual battles. In desperation I entered my small study and fell on my face before the Lord. Once His direction became clear I left the place of prayer firmly committed to do what He had directed me to do.
If you are facing a spiritual battle, fall on your knees and seek God’s wisdom. He will show you what to do.
“If you want to know what God wants you to do, ask him, and he will gladly tell you, for he is always ready to give a bountiful supply of wisdom to all who ask him.”

Lord Jesus, I am no longer young, but I still need Your wisdom. Show me what to do and I will do it. Amen.
