Now that I have reached the autumn of my life, I find myself thinking about the people I have met, and the stories they have shared. They come from all walks of life and from various parts of the country. Some are nationally known figures, but most are just ordinary people like you and me. They all have at least one thing in common—with God’s help they have overcome the worst life could throw at them. There is much we can learn from them, but if it were reduced to a single axiom, I believe it would be this. Have faith in God.
