The security of our salvation is not dependent on living a sinless life but on our faith in the finished work of Jesus Christ—His sinless life, His sacrificial death, and His glorious resurrection.
We strive to walk in obedience and to live a holy life not in order to become holy but because He has made us holy. The question we should ask ourselves is “Am I cooperating with the Holy Spirit to work out my salvation by fully yielding to His sanctifying work?”
