Grandma Miller has been dead for nearly fifty years now, but she lives on in my memory and her influence shapes me still. She was tenacious, and from her example I learned to “hang tough” and finish what I started. She believed in me and taught me to believe in myself. I am who I am today, at least in part, because of the investment she made in me.
“I have been reminded of your sincere faith, which first lived in your grandmother Lois and in your mother Eunice and, I am persuaded, now lives in you also.”
— 2 Timothy 1:5
Lord Jesus, I want to thank You for my godly heritage. Help me to pass it on to my children and grandchildren. In Your holy name I pray. Amen.
