The second law of sowing and reaping is: “You always reap more than you sow.” For instance a single kernel of corn produces a stalk of corn that bears between two and four ears of corn. Each ear of corn yields more than 600 kernels of corn. That means if you plant a single kernel of corn that produces a stalk of corn that yields four ears of corn your single kernel of corn has produced approximately 2,400 kernels. You started with one kernel of corn and now you have 2,400 kernels of corn. You always reap more than you sow!

Give, and it will be given to you. A good measure, pressed down, shaken together and running over, will be poured into your lap.

— Luke 6:38 (NIV)

Lord Jesus, remind us that what we hoard never grows but what we give away is multiplied back to us. In Your holy name I pray. Amen.
