Daniel lived during the very worst of times. His nation was apostate; Jerusalem lay in ruins, as did the temple; and he was an exile in a heathen country. Yet even in those desperate times Daniel became a man of unimpeachable character, moral strength, and spiritual integrity! Let me say it again—under the very worst of conditions God produced the very best of men—Daniel. Be encouraged. Although we are living in desperate times, God can do the same for your sons and daughters! He can transform them into godly men and women.
