God never gives us wisdom for imaginary problems or strength for imaginary challenges. Nor does He give us grace in advance. It always comes “just” when we need it. That’s why people often say, “I could never bear something like that.” Yet when it comes they not only bear it but they do so with remarkable grace. One last thought, although God’s grace is always sufficient, that doesn’t mean the victory is easy it just makes it possible.

“But he said to me, ‘My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness.’”

— 2 Corinthians 12:9 (NIV 1984)

Lord Jesus help us to embrace the sufficiency of Your grace so we can face the future without fear. In Your holy name we pray. Amen.
