Moses first attempt to fulfill God’s call was a disaster and he ended up as a fugitive for the next forty years! When he was eighty years old the Lord appeared to him a second time. The Lord said, “The cry of the Israelites has reached me, and I have seen the way the Egyptians are oppressing them. So now, go. I am sending you to Pharaoh to bring my people the Israelites out of Egypt” (Exodus 3:9-10).
Moses has many things to teach us, but none is more important than this. No matter how miserably you may have failed the Lord isn’t finished with you.
