Are you facing a challenging situation beyond your expertise? Don’t despair. “If any of you lacks wisdom, you should ask God, who gives generously to all …and it will be given to you” (James 1:5). A lifetime of experience leads me to believe the Lord imparts His wisdom in three primary ways or some combination thereof. 1) Through the Scriptures. 2) Through the counsel of godly people. 3) Through the inner prompting of the Holy Spirit.

Lord Jesus we are facing situations that are simply beyond our understanding. We need Your wisdom this day and every day. Grant it. In Your holy name we pray. Amen.
