Decision making is a vital part of life. Make wise decisions and you will have a rewarding life. Not a perfect life. Not a trouble-free life, but a rewarding one. Unfortunately, when it comes to decision making many of us are simply flying by the seat of our pants. We have little or no understanding of how wise decisions are made. That being the case let me share some criteria that I think is critical to making wise decisions. 1) Never violate your core values. 2) Develop a clear vision. 3) Correctly interpret the critical data. 4) Consider feedback for those you trust. 5) Allocate your resources wisely. 6) Timing—strike when the iron is hot. 7) Trust your instincts.

“Give me wisdom and knowledge, that I may lead this people.”

— 2 Chronicles 1:10 (NIV)

Lord, give us wisdom to make wise decisions. Amen.
