For all our rationalization we cannot excuse our sin, nor can we talk our way out of the sinful mess we have made. Jesus Christ is our only hope. He is the only one who can forgive our sins and deliver us from this condemnation. If He does not condemn us, then who are we to condemn ourselves? If He has forgiven us, how dare we not forgive ourselves?

Lord Jesus, I am so tired of punishing myself. No matter how much I suffer I cannot undo the things I have done. I know You have forgiven me. Help me to forgive myself. In Your holy name I pray. Amen.
