Experience has taught me that almost always there is a letdown after a great victory. Once the initial euphoria fades it feels like all the air has gone out of the balloon, which leads me to conclude that our greatest joy will be found in striving for God-given goals, even more than in obtaining them. With that in mind let me challenge you to dream big dreams, to dare to attempt great things for God.

Lord Jesus, help us to celebrate our achievements without becoming complacent. Enlarge our vision so we may go from victory to victory. In Your holy name we pray. Amen.
